Question: Where Are You Located?
Answer: Riverfront Cruises is located in the Las Olas Riverfront Entertainment Complex. The address is 300 SW 1st Avenue (also called Brickell Avenue), in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The public parking garage is located on the right side of the road immediately after you pass Valet Parking.

Question: What is the Admission Fee?
Answer: Adults pay $23 per person, Juniors (Age 4-16) pay $13 and Children Under 4 are Free.

Question: Is Your Tour Boat Available for Groups?
Answer: Yes, our boat is available at a discount for groups and/or for Private Cruises, Dinner Cruises and Cocktail Cruises in Fort Lauderdale. You may call our office at (800) 499-2248 for more information. Advance reservations are recommended for groups.

Question: How long is Your Fort Lauderdale Boat Tour?
Answer: Each boat tour is approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Question: What are the departure times?
Answer: Please check our full public cruise calendar for daily cruise schedules. Typically, boat tours are scheduled for 11.00am, 1:00pm,3:00pm, 5:00pm, Monday thru Sunday (7 days a week 365 days a year) rain or shine.

Question: Where does the boat tour take us?
Answer: Our tour boat cruises Fort Lauderdale up the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway and Port Everglades. We provide the BEST cruise and boat tour of Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America. Our Captain will narrate your boat tour and you will see downtown Fort Lauderdale, the spectacular homes of Millionaire’s Row, the Intracoastal Waterway, Port Everglades, and the magnificent mega-yachts of our beautiful waterways and marinas.

Question: Are Your Captains licensed?
Answer: We have some of the finest captains in the South Florida area and they are all U.S. Coast Guard licensed and drug tested. You will be completely safe on our cruise of Ft. Lauderdale’s Venice of America!

Question: What about Parking?
Answer: Public parking is available in the parking garage located in the Las Olas Riverfront. The entrance to the garage is located on the right side of the road immediately after you pass valet parking.

Question: Can I reserve a particular seat?
Answer: Seating is on a first come first served basis. Seating is available upstairs on our observation deck which has both covered and uncovered seating, in our air-conditioned dining room, on the bow and on the stern. No matter where you sit on the boat tour, you will have a great view.

Question: Should I tip the crew?
Answer: Tipping is greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your experience onboard.

Question: Are gift certificates available?
Answer: Yes! Please contact our office at (954) 463-3372 to purchase gift certificates.

Question: What happens if it rains?
Answer: We run rain or shine at the Captain’s discretion. The boat is covered and there is an air-conditioned dining room where you may sit in the event of rain.

Question: Is there a restroom onboard?
Answer: Yes, we have a restroom onboard.

Question: Is there food or beverages available?
Answer: Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available. We sell hot dogs, chips, ice cream and other light snacks onboard as well. Please bring extra cash if you’d like to purchase food and drinks aboard the boat.

Question: Can I bring a cooler aboard the boat?
Answer: No coolers are permitted aboard the vessel.

Question: Is there room to store my personal belongings on board?
Answer: Yes, there is plenty of room to store your bags onboard.

Question: Can I bring my child’s stroller onboard?
Answer: Yes, you may bring a stroller onboard. We do not permit strollers on the second deck. We will be happy to stow your stroller downstairs if you would like to sit upstairs with your little one.

Question: Do I need to bring identification with me?
Answer: We do not require identification to board the boat; however, our bartenders do check photo identification prior to alcoholic beverage service and our cashiers at the ticket booth may ask for identification if you are paying by credit card or traveler’s check.

Question: Is smoking allowed?
Answer: Smoking is permitted on the back of the boat on the aft deck.

Question: Is the boat safe?
Answer: The vessel is safe. The boat is certified and inspected by the United States Coast Guard regularly. Additionally during these inspections the captain and crew are drilled in emergency procedures to insure they are properly trained and prepared. In the highly unlikely event of an emergency, the vessel is equipped with more than enough life jackets for all passengers and crew onboard the cruise boat.

Question: Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
Answer: Riverfront Cruises is accessible to guests in wheelchairs on the first deck only. Passengers with wheelchairs will not have access to the second deck, but they will be able to enjoy the cruise from the first deck. Our crew is available to assist anyone onto the boat who needs help.

Question: Will I get seasick?
Answer: It is very unlikely that you will get seasick since we cruise the inland waterways of the New River and Intracoastal Waterway. We do not go onto the ocean. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider taking preventative measures prior to boarding the boat.

Question: Is there anything fun to do around the dock location?
Answer: Yes. In the Riverfront area there are several restaurants, cafes and a movie theater. The Museum of Science and Discovery and the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art are both located just a short walk from the Riverfront. Also, we are only a few blocks away from the famous Las Olas Shopping District.
